Brief biography. In 2003 Anna Chaykisova graduated from Irkutsk State Linguistic University with a degree in “Linguistics and Intercultural Communication”, qualification “Linguist. Teacher of English and German”. In 2010 she successfully defended her candidate dissertation (PhD thesis) in philology on the topic “Cognitive-pragmatic analysis of deontic modality and means of its expression in Modern English”. In 2022 she got a Master’s Degree in Foreign Regional Studies. She is the author or co-author of more than 40 academic and scholarly publications, including the textbook «English Dimensions: Language, Region, Cultures».
