Short biography. Elena D. Pserovskaia graduated from Novosibirsk Institute of Railway Transport Engineers with a degree in “Railway Operations”. Upon graduation in 1981, she began working at the “Cargo Safety” research laboratory of NIIZhT (now the Siberian Transport University), and then she worked at the Department “Logistics, Commercial Operations, and Rolling Stock”, which she has headed since 2006. In 2000, she successfully defended her Candidate’s dissertation (PhD) on the topic “Improving Transportation Methods and Calculation Techniques for Securing Flat-Base Cargo in Open Rolling Stock” in the field of Railway Transport Operations. She is the author and co-author of over 100 educational and scientific works, including the monograph “Transport Packaging for Dangerous Goods,” which won first place in two competitions: “Best Transport Publication” and “Best Academic Publication in the Field of Transport.”. She is also Head of the Transport Logistics Research School at the Department of Transportation Management at the Siberian Transport University.
