Short biography. Gaysha E. Imambayeva graduated from Pavlodar Pedagogical Institute with a degree in Russian Language and Literature (1979), and later from S. Toraigyrov Pavlodar State University with a degree in Kazakh Language and Literature (1996). In 2001, she defended her candidate dissertation, specialty code 10.02.20 – “Comparative Historical, Typological, and Contrastive Linguistics” at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (Almaty). In 2010, she defended her Doctoral dissertation, specialty code 10.02.02 – “Kazakh Language” at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (Almaty). From 2006 to 2010, she served as head of the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities at Pavlodar Institute of Almaty Academy of Economics and Statistics, and as head of the Department of Kazakh Language and Journalism at Innovative Eurasian University (Pavlodar). In 2008, she was awarded a Certificate of Honor from the Pavlodar Regional Maslikhat. In 2011, by decision of the Committee for Control in Education and Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, she was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor in Linguistics. In 2013, she received the state grant “Best University Teacher – 2013” from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In 2016, she was awarded a Certificate of Honor from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In 2018, for significant achievements in teaching and upbringing of the younger generation, she was awarded the breast badge “Y. ALTYNSARIN”. In 2020, she received the breast badge and certificate for the title “Honored Teacher of Kazakhstan”. In 2021, she was awarded a Certificate of Honor from the Committee on Language Policy of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan and received a Letter of Appreciation from the Akim of Pavlodar Region. In 2022, she received a Letter of Appreciation from the Department of Statistics of Pavlodar Region, as well as a diploma of professional retraining in Journalism from Omsk Humanitarian Academy. In 2025, she received a diploma of professional retraining in Psychology from Innovative Eurasian University. She is the author or co-author of over 300 scientific publications, textbooks, monographs, electronic teaching aids, and copyright certificates.
