Research areas: methods and algorithms for optimal filtering and control in multi-position observation systems and integrated navigation systems based on inertial and satellite technologies.
Brief biography. In 1998, he graduated from the Irkutsk Higher Military Aviation Engineering School (IHMAES), faculty of aviation radio-electronic equipment with the qualification of radio engineer. From 1998 to 2001, he completed full-time postgraduate studies at IHMAES. He was awarded the scholarship of the Government of the Russian Federation Prize for 1999/2000 in the nomination “Graduate Student who has demonstrated outstanding abilities in educational and scientific activities” and received the qualification “Higher School Teacher.”
In 2002, he defended his dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences on a special topic in the dissertation council of the Military Aviation Technical University, Moscow, in the following scientific specialties: 20.01.09 - Military control, communication and navigation systems; 20.02.25 - Military electronics, equipment of military complexes. A finalist for the V. Potanin Foundation scholarship competition in the category “Best Teachers of the Russian Ministry of Defense” for the 2005/2006 academic year. In 2007, he was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor in the Department of Aviation Electronic Systems and Operation of Onboard Electronic Equipment. In 2019, he defended his dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences on the topic "Optimization of Aircraft Navigation Support for Free Flight Routing" in the dissertation council of the Moscow State Technical University of Civil Aviation in the scientific specialty: 05.22.13 - Navigation and Air Traffic Control. He is the author and co-author of more than 150 educational and scientific publications, including a textbook approved by the educational and methodological association “Aviation electronic systems. Theoretical Foundations of Design” and the monograph “Multi-Criteria Optimization of Aircraft Trajectories for Free Flight Routing”. A patent was received for the invention “Method for simulating statistical modeling of a locomotive integrated navigation system.”
