In 2004, she was one of the first in Russia to substantiate the institutionalization of this direction in her doctoral dissertation. Research interests: Intercultural and environmental education, regional educational systems, social partnership, teacher education taking into account ethnocultural features.
Brief biography. Nina Zhamsuevna graduated from Dorzhi Banzarov Buryat State Pedagogical Institute in 1982 with a degree in "Teacher of German and English". After completing postgraduate studies at the Research Institute of General Problems of Education of the USSR Academy of Pedagogical Sciences in 1991, she began working at BSPI/BSU and defended her Candidate's dissertation the same year. In 2004, she defended her Doctoral dissertation. Under her supervision, 13 Candidate's dissertations and 1 Doctoral dissertation have been defended.
Her scientific and professional achievements have been recognized with numerous awards: Honorary titles: "Honored Worker of Education of the Republic of Buryatia" (2003), "Honorary Worker of Higher Professional Education of the Russian Federation" (2009), "Honored Professor of BSU" (2022); Laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Buryatia in the field of education (2013) — for the educational and methodological set "Baikal Chest"; Medal "For Significant Contribution to the Development of Education of the Republic of Buryatia" (2022); Winner of the National Prize of the Russian Professorial Assembly "Dean of the Year" (2024), and others.
N.Zh. Dagbaeva is the author of more than 200 scientific works, including 27 textbooks and monographs. Key publications: the educational and methodological set for schoolchildren "Baikal Chest" (in Russian and English, 2013), as well as articles in leading peer-reviewed journals and publications indexed in the Scopus and Web of Science databases.
Nina Zhamsuevna has extensive experience in university leadership and actively participates in scientific and public life.
