The research of screeners’ visual searching for prohibited items with the use of eye-tracking technology

The research results of screeners’ visual searching for prohibited items and substances using Eye-tracking technology are presented. The results of applying the multivariate statistics methods to improve the reliability of the classification of students based on the analysis of their eyes activity are described. The criterion of competence formation in visual search is proposed. The possibility of applying Shewhart control charts to assess the statistical stability of visual searching was studied.

Transportation work effectiveness analysis of the 3te10m diesel locomotives on the Kattakurgan – Navoi road section of uzbek railway

The results of the substantiation of the parameters of the transportation work of three-section trunk (train) freight locomotives 3ТЭ10М on the real hilly-mountain section of the railway during the movement of freight trains without or with stoppings at intermediate stations, rail junctions and separate points, as well as assessing the haulage properties of the station – to – station track profile are presented. As a criterion for the aforementioned assessment, the given values of total and specific diesel fuel consumption for train haulage in quantitative and monetary calculations are proposed, taking into account the values of the train travel time in haulage mode and specific diesel fuel consumption per trip accompanying the transportation process. The results of research using the methods of the theory of locomotive haulage, taking into account the maximum values of the main indicators of the fuel and energy efficiency of using the 3TE10M diesel locomotives in the form of tabular data and characteristic curves were obtained. The results of the research are recommended for practical use by train drivers-instructors in heating engineering and specialists of linear enterprises of the locomotive complex of the Uzbek railway network, whose professional and production activities concern energy issues of freight and passenger trains on real hilly-mountain and, identical to them, virtual railroad section.

The evaluation of transportation efficiency of the 3vl80s electric locomotives on the uzbek railway district Kattakurgan – Navoi

The author introduces the results of rationale for the transportation work parameters of three-section mainline (train) freight electric locomotives on a real Uzbek railway section with non-stop and stop-and-go freight traffic at passing tracks, intermediate stations and intersections, as well as estimation of the traction qualities and properties of the track profile in this area. The criteria for the estimation are adjusted values of overall and specific electrical energy consumption for traction power in the terms of quantity and money as well as accompanying values of adjusted time taken in traction mode and the specific electrical energy consumption for the trip. The research results were received as tabular dates and graphic arts dependences with the use of methods and techniques of locomotive traction theory and the main parameters of traction-energy efficiency of the considered electric locomotives.

The research results are recommended for practical application by engine-drivers-instructors and thermotechnics engineers as well as by other specialists of line enterprises of the locomotive complex of Uzbek railways with professional and productive activities concerning with the issues of energetics of moving the freight and passenger trains on real or virtual railway sections.

Features of the modern stage of airport air service development

The author defines the stages of the development of the airport air service market on the basis of the retrospective analysis. The article considers the main legal forms of investment attraction to the airport infrastructure public-private partnership, concession, contract lifecycle. The author shows the features of the competition among airports for the status of the hub, and among the Russian airport holdings at the modern stage of the airport business development.

Concerning the methods of reloading breakbulk cargo on railway warehouses

The freight flow of breakbulk cargo processed at railway warehouses is analyzed. On the basis of the analysis, a simplified mathematical model is justified, in which the entire diverse range of goods is split into the following three groups of reloaded breakbulk cargo – through the main storage areas, sorting and temporary storage areas, and directly from one mode of transport to another.

Проанализирована интенсивность использования воздушных судов авиакомпании на маршрутной сети. Произведена оценка экономической эффективности эксплуатационной деятельности авиапредприятия через расчёт прямых переменных затрат и эксплуатационного дохода по 22 авиалиниям. Выполнено прогнозирование дохода авиакомпании при изменении тарифов в зависимости от сегментации пассажиров. Построена зависимость дохода авиакомпании от характера изменения тарифов.

On the influence of average technical speed on production cost in the complex of micro auto transport systems of cargo transportation

Task solution has been performed by modeling the object – a substitute of complex of micro auto transport systems. The article considers operational transportations planning by an enterprise – producer when it transports its own construction cargo, for its own account, using its own motor vehicles for its construction sites. The authors obtained functional dependence between the production cost and average technical speed of a vehicle in the accepted variability interval and form of this connection for different production situations. Regression models of production cost obtained by the authors have been checked on adequacy to transportation process under study in the complex of micro auto transport systems of cargo transportation using MS Excel.

Specificity of fastening of cargo in emergency supply

The article deals with the special features of fastening of cargo in crisis situations during the emergency supply. The emphasis is placed on crisis situations where limited transport infrastructure is available for emergency supply purposes. Under these conditions, problems with transport of emergency supplies to and within the crisis situation area can be assumed. Based on the statistical evaluation of the transport experiment carried out on the road (motorway) and on unpaved communications (terrain) respectively recommendations are made in relation to the fastening of cargo.

SPECIFIKA UPEVŇOVÁNÍ NÁKLADU V RÁMCI NOUZOVÉHO ZÁSOBOVÁNÍ

Článek řeší zvláštnosti upevnění nákladu v krizových situacích během procesu nouzového zásobování. Důraz je položen na krizové situace, kdy je pro účely nouzového zásobování k dispozici omezená dopravní infrastruktura. V uvedených podmínkách lze předpokládat problémy v přepravě nouzových zásob do prostoru krizové situace a v rámci ní. Na základě statistického vyhodnocení přepravního experimentu, který byl proveden na silnici (dálnici), resp. na nezpevněné komunikaci (terénu), jsou předloženy doporučení ve vztahu k upevnění nákladu.

The rationale for capacity settings of an indoor warehouse for piece goods

The author researches numerous variants of cargo rack storage on the pallets with dimensions of 1,200×800 mm taking into consideration filling the storage area by length, width and height for different parameters of cargo. The patterns of changing the storage area capacity are revealed. To estimate the capacity of an indoor warehouse for piece goods, a parameters series was developed.

The article presents the research results of analysis and estimate of transportation efficiency of 3VL80S mainline (train) three-section electric locomotives on the hilly and mountainous section Marokand-Navoi of JSC “Uzbekiston temir yullari” with non-stop and stop-and-go freight traffic at passing tracks, intermediate stations and intersections. The values of kinematic and energy parameters of the key figures of 3VL80S electric locomotives allow the locomotive complex specialists to elaborate recommendations for increasing  the efficiency of rail transport in real conditions of operating a tractive electric stock on hilly and mountainous railway sections.
