Short biography. In 1985, Marina V. Nikolaeva graduated with honors from the Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Pedagogical College, majoring in Teaching in Primary Classes of General Education Schools. She graduated with honors from the Moscow State V. I. Lenin Pedagogical Institute with a degree in Pedagogy and Psychology, qualifying as a teacher of pedagogy and psychology. In 1995, Marina V. Nikolaeva defended her candidate dissertation (PhD thesis) on “The Formation of Technological Culture in Elementary School Teachers within an Individual and Creative Approach.” In 2026, she defended her doctoral dissertation on “The Personal and Professional Development of Future Elementary School Teachers in Higher Education.’ Since 1990, upon graduating from the university, she has been working at the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of Primary Education at Volgograd State Socio-Pedagogical University. Since 2007, she has served as the Head of this Department. Her awards include the Volgograd State Socio-Pedagogical University’s “For Merit” III Degree and II Degree awards, the Certificate of Merit from the Ministry of Education, and the Certificate of Merit from the Governor of Volgograd Region. She is the author of over 160 scientific and methodological publications. She has conducted research and synthesized Russian and international best practices with the aim of improving the quality of education. Marina V. Nikolaeva is the initiator and organizer of international, all-Russian, and regional scientific-practical conferences, as well as master classes conducted with the authors of modern educational and methodological kits for primary school teachers, students, university professors, and pedagogical college instructors. She is the curator of the master’s program “Quality Management in Primary Education.” She actively maintains ties with schools and educational authorities in Volgograd and the surrounding region. She also serves as a scientific consultant for regional innovation platforms.
