Brief biography. Graduated from the Transbaikal State Pedagogical University named after N.G. Chernyshevsky with a degree in "Linguistics and Intercultural Communication" and an additional qualification as "University Lecturer." From 2003 to 2007, he worked at Chita State University. In 2007, he moved to Irkutsk, and in 2008, he successfully defended his candidate dissertation in the sociology of management on the topic "The Formation of Governance Culture in the People's Republic of China at the Present Stage." From 2009 to 2025, he served as the Head of Departments specializing in Chinese Studies, Oriental Studies, and Regional Studies at universities in Irkutsk (ISLU, MSLU EALI, ISU). He is a laureate of the 2013 International Competition for the Translation of Outstanding Contemporary Literary Works, organized by the Press Office of the State Council of the People's Republic of China. His translations include works by Chinese writers Liu Qingbang and Zhang Wei. He is the author or co-author of over 100 academic and scholarly publications, including the textbook "The Socio-Political System of the People's Republic of China", the monographs "Russian Scholarly Works on Chinese Grammatology in the Second Half of the 19th – First Half of the 20th Centuries: V.P. Vasiliev, S.M. Georgievsky, Yu.V. Bunakov, I.M. Oshanin" and "Cinematic Dialogue: Image, Meaning, Translation" (edited by V.E. Gorshkova), as well as the monograph series "Transdisciplinary Regionology".
