Brief biography. Anatoly G. Guziy graduated from Riga Higher Military Aviation Engineering School named after J. Alksnis in 1975, the Air Force Engineering Academy named after Professor N.E. Zhukovsky in 1982, and the Higher State Advanced Training Courses for Management, Engineering, Technical and Scientific Workers in Patent and Invention Issues in 1988. He served in the Strategic Aviation of the Air Force. Since 1993 he worked at Stavropol Higher Military Aviation School. Since 2002 he worked at the Zhukovsky Air Force Engineering Academy. Full Member (Academician) of the International Academy of Human Problems in Aviation and Cosmonautics, Member of the Council of the Society of Aircraft Accident Investigators. Anatoly G. Guziy is the author of over 250 published papers, primarily in the field of flight safety. He is the author and project manager of the “Aviation Accident Risk Management Methodology” project, which received a grant from the Russian Foundation for Basic Research.
