Environmentally-friendly method of cleaning the volatile organic emissions at maintenance of aviation equipment

The research results of an original-design polymeric nozzle for cleaning the emissions of volatile organic compounds are presented. The device is recommended for vapor recovery of paint coat solvents at maintenance and repair. Cleaning efficiency is up to 99%. Results of hydrodynamic research are described, recommendations about a choice of biofilters operating mode and about their use in civil aviation are made.Β
