Prospects for integration of classical forms of foreign language teaching in e-learning system Moodle: introduction to German phonetics

The article describes the prospects for the creation of e-learning phonetic introductory course using the capabilities of the virtual learning environment Moodle at the Department of German Philology at the St. Petersburg State University. The interest in the usage of electronic learning management systems is associated with the active introduction of new information technologies in the education system, including foreign languages teaching.Β  Moodle can be used to combine many methods in order to teach correct pronunciation of a foreign language, such as audio and / or video, transcription, additional materials. The article presents the initial phase of the project results.
